Overview

Resumetics is a private, invitation-only service that automates job applications on behalf of its users. This policy explains what data we handle, why we handle it, and how it is protected.

Data we process

In the course of operating the service, we process the following categories of data:

  • Resume and profile information you provide to us
  • Job application content generated or submitted on your behalf
  • Email correspondence routed through the service, including replies from job boards
  • Metadata associated with submitted applications (timestamps, job board identifiers, status)

How we use your data

Data is used solely to deliver the service — submitting applications, routing replies back to you, and maintaining an accurate record of your application history. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or share it with third parties outside of the infrastructure providers necessary to operate the service.

Email processing

The service processes inbound email replies from job boards in order to route them back to you. These emails are parsed and forwarded automatically. Raw email content is retained only as long as necessary for delivery and debugging purposes.

Infrastructure and subprocessors

We use a small number of third-party infrastructure providers to operate the service:

  • Email delivery and inbound processing (Resend)
  • Application hosting and compute
  • Database storage

Each provider is bound by their own data processing terms and operates under appropriate security standards.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Application records and email routing logs are kept for a reasonable period to support debugging and audit trails. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

Your rights

As a user of the service, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Because this is a private service, requests are handled directly and responded to promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects when the current version was last revised. Continued use of the service after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
